Working on site you will be delivering educational programs and initiatives to enhance employee knowledge, skills and performance to both new employees and new starters. 

This is a Permanent Full time position at St Peters Lane Cove North, a beautiful 93 bed Nursing Home.

The key focus areas are:

  • Coordinating and delivering the induction and onboarding program to newly hired employees 
  • Delivering and/or facilitating education and training to all Residential Aged care (RAC) employees within the home to meet role expectations and ensure compliance across all Aged care Quality Standards 
  • Conducting education and training needs analysis and develop a learning plan to address identified gaps

What you need to be considered for the role:

  • Clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process 
  • Cert IV Workplace Training & Assessment or something similar
  • Experience in delivering education & training programs using adult learning principles 
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health and Safety 
  • Solid understanding of Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality standards 
  • Previous experience working in a Residential Aged Care setting 
  • IT savvy, full Microsoft Suite and able to pick up new systems with ease 
  • Able to work independently and part of a multi disciplinary team 
  • NDIS check or willing to obtain
