The FoodLAB in Broome is seeking an experienced cook to join our crew. Experience in the kitchen is essential, and must have an excellent knowledge of Italian cuisine and its dynamics. The right candidate will have the opportunity to work in a healthy environment amongst professionals of the sector. The right candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in the kitchen, good knowledge of Italian food and culture, ability to work in remote area for at least 4 years. Experience in preparation and cooking of pasta is essential, the job requires the preparation of fresh pasta every day with a pasta extruder machine, and during dinner service the cooking and serving of the pasta. Also good knowledge and skills regarding breads, pizzas and focaccia is preferrable. Training on certain areas will be provided such as pizzas and sweets.
