Position Title: Restaurant Manager

Salary: $73,500 plus superannuation.
Stowaway Bar is expanding and we are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager for an immediate start. This position is a full-time ongoing position, working 38 hours per week based in Freshwater, NSW, Australia.
The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for the following duties:
(a) To be in charge of the everyday running of Stowaway Freshwater as Restaurant Manager. They will be in charge of the pizza restaurant as well as the main restaurant.
(b) To organise events and promotions to help drive patrons to the venue during quieter periods.
(c) To curate and create our beverage menu and work alongside the chef to help guide the food menu.
(d) To write the roster and organise staff accordingly to ensure the establishment has the right amount of staff on with consideration of profits and loss to the business.
(e) To ensure all ordering is done weekly and prior to the weekend so the establishment can run smoothly. To arrange the purchasing of goods and ensure we are on budget.
(f) To be in charge of the money that enters and exits the premises.
(g) To work hard with the owners to ensure it is a profitable business as it moves into each fiscal year.
(h) To train and guide new staff to have the same work ethic and belief system that the establishment espouses.
(i) To be honest, upfront, friendly and personable at all times to both staff and customers.
(j) To ensure the premises (including cool room) is kept clean and organised at all times and compliant to health regulations and our high standards.
(k) To respect the neighbours and report to the owner any incidences that may occur outside the premise that indirectly or directly affects the establishment.
(l) To report back to the employer weekly on staff performances, incidences and other concerns regarding the business.
For this position it is expected that you would possess the following qualifications/work experience:
At least 3 years of relevant work experience and relevant qualifications.
