The Mangrove Hotel is looking for a Sous Chef Breakfast to oversee the kitchen and ensure operations run smoothly for one of the most important part of the day. The Mangrove Hotel has a strong reputation for delivering an excellent, creative and consistent food offering.
Duties:
Support the Executive Chef with managing kitchen operations
Demonstrate high standards in cooking and supervising breakfast.
Strong ability to oversee preparation for the Bay Club outlet.
Preparation for functions and events and manage the lunch functions and conferences.
Assist with preparation for dinner functions.
Receive and check deliveries and take care of the cool rooms and freezers.
Training new staff when required
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role as a Breakfast Chef
High standards in cooking and supervising breakfast operations
Demonstrate excellent kitchen hygiene skills along
