Task & Responsibilities Food Preparation and Presentation: -Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes in line with Flavours of India's menu and quality standards. -Ensure that all food is prepared fresh and meets the restaurant's taste and presentation criteria. -Create visually appealing buffet presentations that entice and satisfy guests. Menu Development: -Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to develop new recipes and menu items that reflect current food trends and customer preferences. -Experiment with new ingredients and cooking techniques to keep the menu exciting and relevant. Kitchen Operations: -Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment. -Ensure all kitchen equipment and appliances are properly used and maintained. -Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely replenishment of ingredients. Quality and Food Safety: -Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations. -Conduct regular quality checks to ensure all dishes meet Flavours of India's high standards. -Implement and follow proper storage and handling procedures for all food items. Team Collaboration: -Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours. -Provide guidance and support to junior kitchen staff and assist in their training and development. -Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and innovation. Qualification & Experience Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role. Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine and buffet-style dining. Creativity and passion for culinary arts with a keen eye for detail. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Formal culinary training or relevant certifications are a plus.
