The Consolidations Accounting Manager is pivotal in ensuring the Group’s consolidated financial statements for both internal management and external reporting requirements reflect a true and fair representation of the Group’s financial performance by ensuring complete, accurate and robust accounting processes are employed with regards to the consolidation and related reporting processes.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role
- Manages preparation of the Group’s monthly consolidations within the SAP Business Planning & Consolidation (BPC) reporting system
- Ensures robust processes and controls are in place with regards to this process
- Manages relationships with reporting stakeholders to ensure their reporting needs are met
- Process improvement initiatives are actively determined and implemented (consideration of changing process from “push” by business units to be “pull” from this team, in terms of data submissions, including taking maintenance of mapping tables in house.
- Manages preparation of various analyses supporting half year and year end external reporting processes, including external audit
- Leads an active program of feedback to business units to ensure never ending improvement to their data submissions - issues formal instructions and policy (working with the ER/FC teams) where needed
- Interacts with WOW FSS team on various accounting matters
- Issues timetables and instructions as appropriate, and drives relentless compliance with timetable commitments and disciplines
- Introduces necessary tasks, checks and exception reporting to build control and process environment, leading to high levels of data completeness and accuracy
- Actively manages user access to BPC through supervision of user access list and approval processes.
- Works with FP&A team to assess for optimised processes with loading of forecast and budget data
- To be involved in our transformation project, with regards to acting as an SME in relation to implementation of a replacement system to BPC
