Our client, J & K Group Victoria Pty Ltd trading as Schnitz-Ballarat (Sturt Street), is in need of an experienced Restaurant Manager who is interested to join their team on a full-time basis. The establishment is located at 321 Sturt Street, Ballarat Central, Victoria 3350.
Schnitz-Ballarat specialises in handcrafted schnitzels, offering wraps, rolls, and plates made from premium ingredients. Known for its casual dining atmosphere, it caters to both dine-in and takeaway customers, with a range of sides, salads, and beverages.
The annual salary for the role is $70,000 to $75,000 plus superannuation.
Responsibilities include:
• Organising and coordinating special events.
• Collaborating with Chefs to plan menus.
• Managing the purchasing and pricing of goods within budget.
• Keeping detailed records of stock levels and financial transactions.
• Ensuring dining areas meet health regulations and maintain a clean, functional, and appealing appearance.
• Interacting with customers to gauge their satisfaction with meals and service.
• Hiring, training, and supervising waiting and kitchen staff.
• Taking reservations, greeting guests, and assisting with order taking.
• Developing marketing strategies to attract more customers.
• Overseeing inventory management and minimising waste.
• Implementing and monitoring quality control procedures in the kitchen and dining areas.
Qualifications:
• Relevant AQF Diploma in Hospitality Management or relevant field.
• Two (2) years of similar work experience.
