JG Central Kitchen is the company manufacture and supply various condiments, food products including dumplings and sauces to restaurants. With society returning to normality post-pandemic, we are eager to expand our business and hope to supply our items to Asian supermarkets.

We are currently seeking a fast, hands-on, and detail-oriented Accountant to join our business. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
As the stand alone Accountant of the business, you will be responsible for managing various aspects of the company's financial activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

Responsibilities:
Perform day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements under Australian accounting standards.
Reconcile bank statements, credit cards and accounts to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
Conduct regular audits of financial transactions and processes to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and support cross-functional initiatives.
Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Implement and maintain internal control system
Provide annual budgets on timely manner in November of the year
Provide financial and taxation advice on Business Structures, plans and operations
Provide professional suggestion on accounting policies

Requirements:
Minimum 5+ years profession experience in accounting or finance roles
Strong knowledge of Australian accounting principles and standards.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members at all levels.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to upholding ethical standards.
Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
Ability to work stand-alone
