With over 70 years of combined experience and a unique international supply chain, we pride ourselves on delivering projects on time and on budget. We are seeking a qualified carpenter to join our dedicated team and contribute to our continued success.
Job Responsibilities:
Installation of Structural Panels: Execute precise installation of structural panels in residential and commercial projects according to design specifications and safety standards.
Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Quality Control: Inspect and verify the quality of materials and workmanship to maintain high standards.
Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
Tool Maintenance: Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of carpentry tools and equipment.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to create a safe working environment.
Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the installation process.
Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent service.
Team Training: Mentor and train junior carpenters and apprentices as needed.
Material Management: Manage inventory and order supplies to ensure all materials are available for ongoing projects.
Qualification & Experience:
Certificate III in Carpentry; and
Minimum of 2 years of carpentry experience
Other Skills & Abilities:
Strong knowledge of construction methods, tools, and materials.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to safety and quality standards.
