Our Team
We are recruiting an Account Director for our Market Strategy & Understanding Service Line. Profound industry transformations are creating opportunities for consumer insights and action driven advisory services. Market Strategy & Understanding addresses these opportunities in market portfolio and channel strategies, through the richness of customer understanding, with the rigour of a management consultancy and the actionability of a marketer.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced market research professional to be responsible for leading a team to deliver strategic direction for clients through a high quality of research methodology, strategic insight, and project management. As an Account Director, you will actively manage a team to meet the clients’ needs on time and within budget, as well as actively developing new business whilst contributing to the team culture and coaching others.
Skills and Experience
At least 8 years commercial market research experience in Account management roles.
Experience in market understanding projects (segmentation, U&A, Shopper)
While being obsessed with the accuracy and detail that are crucial to delivery, you do this in the context of understanding the bigger picture and have the ability to see things through both the client and customer lens
You will have excellent written and oral communication skills
Effective at multi-tasking and able to manage time, cost and quality to achieve great client satisfaction and project profitabilty
You will be a motivated self-starter that can also work well in a cohesive team
Good hands-on knowledge of SPSS, Q or similar.
Relevant tertiary qualifications and preferably QPMR
Strong team development / coaching experience and previous people management responsibility.
