The restaurant is located at 4 Corundum Lane Sapphire Square, Leaks Road, Truganina, Victoria 3029.
In Bukhara Indian Cuisine's kitchen, only the finest, freshest ingredients and in-house ground spices are used. The menu offers a diverse range of traditional dishes, alongside unique Bukhara signature creations. Continuous innovation is a priority, guaranteeing a steady flow of new and delightful recipes for the esteemed guests.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Inspecting food items to verify their quality.
• Managing and controlling oven, grill, and other cooking appliance temperatures.
• Creating and cooking a variety of dishes.
• Enhancing flavours by seasoning food while cooking.
• Dividing food into portions, arranging on plates, and garnishing with sauces and gravies.
• Utilising temperature-controlled storage facilities for food preservation.
• Adapting food preparation to accommodate special dietary needs.
• May take charge of developing menus and estimating food quantities required.
• May take charge of providing training and guidance to kitchen staff and apprentices.
• Monitoring inventory levels and ordering supplies as necessary.
• Conducting regular cleanliness and sanitation inspections in the kitchen.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications:
• Must possess an Australian Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or an equivalent credential.
• Should have at least two years of experience in a similar setting.
Salary:
$70,000 to $75,000 per annum plus superannuation.
