Comprehensive salary package from $70,000 pa (plus superannuation)

Are you a skilled and passionate Motor Mechanic with a knack for fixing and maintaining vehicles? On behalf of our client, Global Skilled Employment Services is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Motor Mechanic to join our team and become an essential part of our automotive service and repair centre.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and electrical problems in vehicles accurately.
• Repair and service engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and other components.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems and safety issues.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot complex vehicle issues.
• Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts used in the repair process.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in automotive technology and repair techniques.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with vehicle owners about repairs and maintenance.

Qualifications and Skills:
• AQF diploma or equivalent (relevant technical certifications or vocational training).
• Proven experience as a motor mechanic or automotive technician.
• In-depth knowledge of vehicle systems and internal combustion engines.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work with a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs.
• Good physical condition and manual dexterity for handling tools and equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
