Energy Australia's Tallawarra power station is located on the shores of Lake Illawarra in New South Wales. The power station is a modern, clean, and efficient Combined-Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) plant capable of producing 435 MW; enough to power 200,000 homes.
We are constructing a 320 MW Open-Cycle Gas Turbine (OCGT) generation unit on the same site, securing Tallawarras ability to generate electricity both flexibly and fast. The construction of this additional unit also provides assurance to our team of staff that Tallawarra will operate well into the future.
The Role
You will report into the Operations Leader on-site and work alongside a close-knit team of Operations and Maintenance Technicians. You will consistently maintain high standards in all facets of the ongoing operation and maintenance of the plant .
