Julius Pizzeria is now looking for a skilled Chef to join their team.
The right candidate will be responsible for:
Examining quality of ingredients;
Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment;
Preparing and cooking food using various techniques;
Train new staff members;
Cooking and planning dishes from the selected menu;
Demonstrating food standards to the kitchen staff;
Supervising the kitchen staff along all the steps involved in food preparation and production;
Motivating the kitchen team to meet the company's goals and increase productivity and efficiency;
Ordering and stocking food and ingredients in a proper way;
Managing inventories;
Assisting me with new ideas and menu preparations;
Cut, slice and prepare vegetables, meat and fish;
About you:
At least 2 years of experience as a Chef;
Strong time management skills;
Ability to work well under pressure;
Strong communications skills;
Knowledge of Italian food and cooking techniques;
Job type: Permanent/full-time
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000
