We are currently seeking experienced and qualified Panel beaters to join our team.
The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
• Strong Commitment to safety – No short cut
• Remove damaged panels and components by unbolting or cutting them away.
• Straighten badly damaged vehicles using mechanical and hydraulic equipment to obtain door, boot, and bonnet clearances.
• Cut and join replacement sections or damaged panels using oxyacetylene and electric welding equipment.
• Fit the repaired panel on the framework of the vehicle and refit body hardware such as door locks and door trim.
• Assist in the preparation for spray painting vehicles.
• Remove and replace accident-related mechanical items.
• Realign chassis and body frames and use chassis alignment machines and measuring systems.
• Remove and replace auto electric components.
• Remove dents by hammering panels with special panel beating tools such as planishing hammers.
• Drivers License
• Flexibility with hours
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Time management and attention to detail
• Punctuality
• Willingness to learn.
Skills & Abilities:
• Certificate III in Automotive Body Repair Technology
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Trade qualified panel Beater
• Excellent communications skills
Salary range is $70,000 -$85,000 commensurate with experience.
