This healthcare provider is looking for an Oracle Financial Systems administrator to proactively support business users with day-to-day corporate systems applications in a shared service enterprise environment. They currently share it with other hospitals and state departments, so strong stakeholder management is essential.
Key responsibilities:
Assist and drive systems upgrade and improvement projects
Maintain the organisational Chart of Accounts
Troubleshoot and fix Finance Systems errors and provide guidance to our stakeholders on better use of our systems
Provide systems training and advice to users as required
Assist in regular system reconciliations to ensure financial data accuracy
Manage interfaces within accounting systems
Ensure the provision of excellent customer service through the effective maintenance, support and development of Oracle Financials & MagiQ systems
Investigate and resolve issues reported by finance system users
Serve as a back-up for Finance Systems Manager and other roles within a team
Be involved in coordinating and performing testing of Health Technology Solutions release upgrades and patches to FMIS
Liaise with and build relationships with key external stakeholders, management and staff in order to ensure the provision of efficient and effective finance systems service;
What you'll need to succeed
Tertiary Education in IT and/or Finance disciplines
Extensive experience with the Oracle financial package and Oracle reporting tools (Oracle Financials and MagiQ system)
Demonstrated advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel)
Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex information effectively.
Ability to work both independently and within a team in a fast-paced and complex environment
