About our Client
Our client is a globally acclaimed, publicly listed retail business, with their Melbourne head office located in inner city Melbourne (on site parking provided). They are currently looking for a Senior Payroll Officer to join their high performing and supportive team.
Duties
Reporting to the Payroll Manager and working within a team of 6, you will be responsible for:
Processing the fortnightly payroll for Australia (approximately 3000 employees across the business in total)
Processing new starters and terminations
Award interpretation including the General Retail Award
Processing annual leave, sick leave and adjustments
Calculating superannuation and Payroll tax/PAYG
Payroll reporting
Handling payroll queries as well as;
Assisting with payroll governance, risk and compliance
Successful Applicant
Extensive Payroll experience within a medium/large sized business
