Your new role
In your new role as supply chain specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
Management of the end-to-end shipping process, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed, customs clearances are obtained, and invoices paid to ensure on-time delivery to customers.
Supplier management, ensuring suppliers and third-party logistics providers are paid on time, processing purchase orders in a timely manner, performing invoice reconciliations as required.
Driving a mindset of continuous improvement across the supply chain function, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency, to reduce lead times and deliver better overall customer experience.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in a similar role, with demonstrated knowledge across shipping documentation, purchasing, inventory control, and customs clearance procedures.
A proven ability to drive process improvements within the supply chain function, with a track-record of successful identification and implementation of improvement initiatives.
Solid systems skills, with ERP understanding and competency in MS Excel.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, strong written and verbal communication, with a proven ability to work within deadlines and balance multiple priorities.
