On behalf of our client, we are advertising. Wren Oil are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join their team in Picton, WA on a full-time basis.
Located near Bunbury in the Southwest and established since 1981, Wren Oil collects and recycles all forms of used oil using the highest environmental standards.
Tasks & Duties:
1. Overhaul, repair, maintain and check for mechanical defects in all types of fixed plant equipment and mechanical components including gear pumps, centrifugal and helical pumps, vacuum pumps and blowers, motors, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
2. Assist in correct identification of replace parts including the capture and booking out of parts from stores.
3. Ensure that operations workshop in maintained in a clean and safe condition.
4. Ongoing review and updating of work orders including updating technical specs and record accurate data.
5. Active participation in various site maintenance shutdown activities as required.
Skills and experience:
1. Good organisational skills, reliable, punctual, and well presented.
2. Good communication skills with ability to work well in a team.
3. Be able to work under pressure and adapt in fast paced environment.
4. 2-3 years relevant experience in a similar role.
5. Trade Qualification as mechanical fitter.
Salary from $55 per hour.
