Restaurant Manager – 70K to 80K Salary
Restaurant Manager for Sydney’s iconic venue, Hotel Palisade. An opportunity to lead a team dedicated to delivering exceptional service and guest experience.
The Restaurant manager is responsible for leading the floor team to ensure all patrons are receiving exceptional guest experience. It is their sole responsibility to ensure staff are well trained on the venue and the product to deliver excellent service.
The role (fulltime)
In Service
1. running the daily service of the venue, managing the staff in their sections, the kitchen pass and the bar team ensuring food and drinks are received in optimum timing and with enthusiasm
2. managing guest expectations
3. managing venue ambience
4. managing RSA for the building and ensuring staff on duty are adhering to RSA guidelines
5. daily opening procedures for venue
6. nightly reporting and cash up procedures
7. creating and contributing to the positive, fun and professional company culture.
8. building rapport with customers and maintaining regular clientele
9. conflict resolution with any unhappy guests, aiming to turn their experience around so they leave the venue happy.
Recruitment and Development
10. training and development of the floor team
11. recruitment of new employees
Administration
12. contributing to the creative collaborative process
13. maintaining cost controls and implementing sales driving initiatives
14. rostering of staff and tracking wages
15. supporting the management team
