The Bower Tree is our brand new venue located in the heart of Sippy Downs on the Sunshine Coast. Our restaurants and bars are open to the whole community to visit and enjoy a positive social hospitality experience. We offer a Full Time position for a minimum 38 hours per week with competitive rates allowances, modern conditions and staff recognition (Salary range variable with weekends, public holidays and late night penalties - $70,000+). You will need to be available over 7 days of the week, we offer consecutive days off, an advanced roster and flexibility! We operate multiple food outlets within the Club including:
• Arrows Restaurant - The Bower Tree’s popular modern Australian eatery, serving seasonal local produce with all the classic favorites
• Pizzeria – Delivers pizzas made from traditional recipes using the finest of ingredients
• Cafe Rubia - modern all day dining and the finest barista made coffee's
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Chef. This is a Full-Time role within our catering team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing meals with a focus on quality and consistency. You will be part of a committed catering team contributing to the smooth day-to-day operation in a Commercial Kitchen, with consistent customer focus.
About you
This role requires a highly capable, self-motivated person with experience in a busy venue.
The successful candidate applicant will have:
• Relevant Qualification as a Chef Certificate or Diploma
• Experience in fast paced venue
• Excellent hygiene and personal presentation
• Drive and ambition
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Passion for cooking consistent quality food
