On behalf of our client, we are advertising. No Mafia is looking for a Restaurant Manager to join their team based in Northbridge (6003) on a full-time basis.
No Mafia is a modern restaurant that takes a less traditional approach towards Italian antipasti and fresh pasta dishes with strong emphasis on local produce drawing inspiration from recipes of Italy.
A Restaurant Manager looks after the operations of the venue and ensures the wellbeing of patrons and staff. Restaurant Managers work with the security operations of the venue to ensure legal requirements are met. Restaurant Managers are responsible for training staff, ensuring adequate stock is available and keeping things running smoothly.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintains inventory – responsible ordering or checking orders and make sure that every product goes through the till in order to don’t have any variances in the fortnightly stocktake.
- Following and creating opening and closing checklists.
- Ensures guests have a great time and are served with the same ethos as Vin Populi.
- Maintains budget and monitors costs – prices drinks, and regularly checks GP’s and make sure targets are met.
- Oversees bar operation including: maintains drink recipe documentation – and make sure staff follow recipes.
- Oversees planning for special events.
- Appropriately delegates tasks to staff and follows up to make sure completion.
- Selects and purchases liquor and other supplies – must fall in guidelines of Vin Populi.
- Oversees staff, including bartenders and barbacks wait staff, and/or kitchen staff as well.
- Hires, trains, promotes, and, when necessary, disciplines or Terminates staff.
- Initiates and maintains Supplier relationships.
- Uses point-of-sale tracking technology and bar and restaurant management platforms.
- Initiate and maintain all Legal Documentation: Harm Minimalization Folder, Incident Report Folder.
- Keep up date RSA Register.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Diploma or Advanced Diploma in relevant studies
• At least 3 years’ experience as a Restaurant Manager
Salary from $73,000 per anum.
