On behalf of our client, The Continental Hotel Broome, are looking for enthusiastic, skilled Cafe Restaurant Manager to join their team on a full-time basis.
The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, motivated and able to work well in a very fast paced environment. Having worked in a similar role within the hospitality industry, you will be a team player with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with the management of the daily operations of the restaurant
• Briefing staff on the operation, including dietary dishes of the day and out of stock items
• Development and training of staff
• Maintaining high standards of service
• Opening and/or closing of the Venue
• Oversee and allocate staff breaks whilst maintaining wage cost targets
• Processing & reconciling POS, EFT terminals and complete end of day financial reporting
• Attending management briefings and meetings
• Display strong leadership and generate a fun and positive working environment for the restaurant team
• Administrative duties such as bookings and emails
Requirements:
• Previous experience in a restaurant supervisory/management position
• Approved managers certification
• Be able to work in a high-volume, high-pressure environment
• Have a passion for delivering the highest level of customer satisfaction
• H&L (POS) Knowledge is highly regarded
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Time management and multi-tasking skills
Salary from $70,000 per annum.
