Based in Western Australia, we specialise in asset maintenance and operation, compliance, and workplace safety.An opportunity exists for the right person to work within our Team as Mechanical Asset Management Specialist.

About the Role

We’re on the lookout for a talent Mechanical Asset Management Specialist to join our team! You’ll be instrumental in interacting and collaborating with client personnel involved in asset management, listening to their needs, assessing problems, and finding solutions together. This position stems from our vision to enhance client collaboration and problem-solving, ensuring effective asset management solutions are implemented. You'll also play a pivotal role in leading small projects, sharing information with fellow team members, and helping them solve client problems.

Key Responsibilities

· Conduct equipment Criticality Ranking reviews and provide recommendations based on the findings.

· Perform Failure Modes and Effects Consequence Analysis (FMECA) reviews and contribute actionable insights.

· Develop SAP master data for all equipment included in the project scope.

· Create equipment maintenance strategies in alignment with department requirements and operational sites.

· Provide input for KPI tracking related to Operations Readiness.

· Ensure that any requested plant change is authorised and completed through the PLS Plant Change Request Process.

· Play a key role in Value Optimisation activities to enhance Asset Integration within the Operational Readiness scope.

· Ensure compliance with all local legislation, regulations, and asset procedures including safety, health, environment, and community standards.

· Conduct asset management, maintenance, and reliability reviews, audits, and gap assessments.

· Implement improved asset management processes and practices.

· Achieve alignment and/or certification against ISO 55001 requirements.

· Assist clients in improving their maintenance planning and scheduling processes and practices.

· Apply reliability engineering principles and tools to maximise equipment productivity.



Experience and Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field

· A minimum of 5 years' experience in asset management roles within the mining industry, particularly in Fixed Plant mechanical environments.

· Proven experience with preventative and corrective maintenance concepts and repair procedures.

· Expertise in FMECA, Equipment Criticality assessment, RCM, and Root Cause Analysis.

· Hands-on experience with operations readiness practices.

· Proficiency in risk identification and management.

· Strong skills in resource planning and scheduling.

· Solid interpersonal skills to effectively interact and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, and contractors.

· Full Australian working rights, residing in Perth.

· Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
