We’re on the lookout for an individual that is ready to make a real difference in the lives of NDIS participants living in Melbourne. Our dynamic and supportive team is seeking a passionate, autonomous, flexible, and highly skilled OT to enhance the lives of our participants, to increase their independence and function with everyday tasks.
What you’ll be doing:
- You will work as a mobile OT providing community-based therapy to NDIS participants to help meet their goals.
- Provide both assessment and intervention services to both children and adults within their home environment, school or workplace.
- Completing functional capacity assessments, life skills training, equipment prescription, home environment assessments, and completion of reports outlining recommendations.
- Working with our leadership team to create a strong OT offering within the business with rapid growth.
What you’ll bring:
- A passion for people and a genuine interest in responding to the needs of others.
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with individuals.
- Knowledge of the NDIS framework.
- Strong understanding of person-centred care.
- Ability to jump on board with business growth opportunities and be involved in making decisions.
What we would like you to have:
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
- AHPRA registration
- Authorised to work in Victoria.
- Valid Victorian Driver License
- Minimum 2-year NDIS industry experience
- Ability to actively navigate and adapt to change.
- Working with Children Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
