ULTIMATE DIESEL TUNING PTY LTD Ideal Candidate: An exciting opportunity exists for a qualified Technician to join the Ultimate Diesel Tuning Team at our Arundel store on the Gold Coast We are looking for a fully qualified 4wd & light vehicle diesel mechanic/technician, who has experience with common-rail diesel vehicles & enjoys working in a busy workshop in a great team environment. This role incorporates mechanical work, as well as operating our 4WD dyno. The successful candidate will be a highly organised & effective team member with a strong attention to detail to ensure that our excellent customer service standards are met. Training will be provided for the performance modification/dyno operation aspects of this role. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified 4wd & light vehicle diesel mechanic/technician & will have: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Diesel Motor Mechanic Relevant qualifications in Motor Mechanic – Certificate III & IV Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills Team player with excellent safety standards Experience with a common rail engines Good computer skills Exceptional time management & communication skills A positive attitude & excellent problem-solving skills The ability to take initiative & work hard A passion for 4WDs & having tools An unrestricted Auto & Manual Driver's Licence BenefitsTask & Responsibilities Perform maintenance, testing, and repairs on common rail diesel engines Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in engines and components. Conduct scheduled maintenance services, including oil changes, lubrications, to ensure optimal vehicle performance and adherence to environmental standards. Test and adjust repaired mechanical parts to guarantee peak performance. Employ computer diagnostics tools to identify faults and confirm repair success. Fault diagnosis & rectification Fitting upgraded performance parts Operating the dyno & assisting the tuner as required Carrying out general service advising/customer service to our customers Additional Information: Applications from Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents are highly encouraged.
