The DC Team Member is responsible for daily DC operations including picking, unloading, loading and counting products with a continual focus on Safety, Service, Cost and Team.
- Ensure that all incidents/injuries, near misses, and hazards are reported in a timely manner to the DC Manager.
- Handle products in line with safety and handling induction and training.
- Adhere to WH&S policies and procedures.
- Responsible for ensuring that all people on-site at the DC follow all relevant Safe Working Practices (SWPs) in accordance with the National Safety Plan.
- Ensure the right training and processes are in place to minimise incidents/injuries.
- Process stock received into the warehouse as per company procedures.
- Transfer stock to designated storage areas as per company procedures.
- Pick stock to picking lanes as per company procedure.
- Conduct cycle counts.
- Perform any other suitable duties as requested by Supervisors or Managers in other areas of the business including but not limited to cleaning, receiving, returns, dispatch and administration.
- Work as part of a dynamic Team to build better and safer procedures.
- Build positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure good housekeeping including cleaning floors, racking etc.
- Use of mechanical handling equipment with appropriate training and licences.
- Ensure accuracy of the product against picking instructions to ensure the customer gets what they ordered.

- Cleaning products.
- Testing units.
- Sorting work floor for the day.
- Putting stock away.
- Stock investigation.
- Booking in purchase orders of consignment stock.
