Salary & Conditions
The position is classified as an Early Childhood Educator and will attract a salary in the range of $28.43 to $31.84 per hour (Grade 6 in Council’s salary system), plus 11% superannuation.
Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award.
Prior to commencement, the successful applicant will be required to undergo a Pre-employment Functional Assessment and Drug & Alcohol screening.
Documentation demonstrating full COVID-19 vaccination is required.

Qualifications and Experience
Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. A willingness to work toward a Diploma would be seen as favourable (if not already held).
A current Working with Children Check is essential.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
Facilitate engaging and age-appropriate learning activities.
