Position: Chef (ANZSCO 351311)
Location: Orange, NSW
Salary: $70,000 ~ 75,000 plus Superannuation
As a Chef, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning menus with Head Chef, estimating food and labour costs and ordering food supplies
- Assisting with the development of new and exciting menu items that engage the interest of our customers
- Maintaining consistent and the highest quality product standards and presentation
- Discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff
- Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
- Preparing and cooking food
- Inspect supplies, equipment and work areas for cleanliness and functionality
- Monitoring sanitation practices and ensuring that kitchen safety standards are followed
-Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-workers and business areas
- Ordering food and food related products using approved suppliers
- Achieve food budget cost controls, ensuring minimum wastage within the unit.
To qualify for this role, you must have:
- Prior experience in a similar role
- Relevant qualification(s) in the culinary field
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
