JOB TITLE: Management Accountant
EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Full-Time
REPORTS TO: Group Financial Controller
JOB SPECIFICATION:
Financial and Corporate Reporting
Responsible for the monthly management accounts and Corporate reporting pack for manufacturing and distribution business units within their remit including relevant insights on key cost and revenue variances.
Responsible for the preparation and delivery of the monthly consolidation workbook to financial controller.
Responsible for the management of accounts for Investment Companies.
Support the financial reporting of a complex group that includes a number of trading entities with foreign currencies, by contributing to the technical accounting treatment of new scenarios as the group expands.
Complete monthly inventory reconciliations and determine and calculate appropriate stock provisions in the accounts.
Complete monthly FX revaluations for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and banks.
Management Reporting and Analysis
Present monthly results to Financial Controller for review and analysis in the form of monthly finance pack.
Responsibility for the monthly operations reporting pack, including financial metrics update, with detailed analysis and insights to material deviations for the site.
Responsive to financial inquiries by gathering, analysing, summarising and providing relevant commentary on the financial information available.
Key finance member for liaison with auditors and preparation of supporting financial
schedules for year end consolidation workbook.
Business Support
Develop and upgrade reporting structures and tools embracing digital technology and automation.
