Our quality team of Aspect Support Workers work together with Autistic adults in a community environment, allowing participants to engage in activities that support and enhance independent living skills, social understanding and health and wellbeing.
Our enthusiastic team create a positive environment and provide quality, supports to our Autistic participants, while developing your own knowledge and skills in a group setting.
What you bring:
- Certificate IV in Disability Services, Community Service or Individual Support - completed or working towards (highly regarded)
- Experience working in a day program, supported accommodation services or a hospital setting (required)
- Experience working with adults with complex behaviours and support needs
- Engaged and willing to learn; skilled at building rapport
- Motivated, resilient and enthusiastic
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Driver’s licence (desirable)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance for paid employment (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Working with Children Check for paid employment in the state where you will be employed (or willingness to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module, ‘Quality, Safety and You.' If you have not already completed this free module, click here to access it.
- You may also be required to provide an international police clearance
