BSH Home Appliances Pty Ltd is searching for a forward-thinking and strategy-driven experienced professional to join our team as our new Distribution Manager. This pivotal role is responsible for determining, implementing and monitoring purchasing, storage and distribution strategies, policies and plans and aims at bolstering customer visibility via track and trace solutions, orchestrating recruitment and induction for logistics roles, engaging in tender management, and advancing operational excellence through optimizing productivity, reducing costs, and enhancing 3PL efficiency. Your expertise will also be critical in supporting SAP rollouts for Logistics and Demand Planning, significantly contributing to our overarching business efficiency objectives.
Organizational Relationships:
• Internally you’ll liaise with the Order Management, Logistics, Sales and Finance teams, along with Planners and the Supply Chain Manager. You'll also work closely with both Headquarters and other BSH subsidiaries.
• Externally you’ll collaborate with 3PL providers, Freight forwarders, and integrate with global and regional supply chain networks
Key Responsibilities:
• Operational Excellence & Supplier Management: Supervise relationships and contracts with 3PL providers in Australia, standardize home deliveries, and contribute to LP2 targets for the ANZ business.
• Supply Chain Management: Ensure inventory accuracy and reconciliation, spearhead demand planning tool development, and execute global logistics projects.
• Continuous Improvements: determining, implementing and monitoring purchasing, storage and distribution strategies, policies and plans
• Leadership & Development: Recruit, mentor, and manage the Logistics Improvement team, nurturing leadership skills for enhanced functional and business outcomes.

Bachelor's qualification in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business.
Significant experience in the home appliance industry within a large multinational corporation.
Proven expertise in global operational logistics, project, and contract management.
Proven experience in successful tender management
Strong analytical mindset and a 'can do' attitude.
Desirable:
Proficient in German language
Stakeholder management experience for new project proposals.
Proficiency in SAP and analytical tool development with software
