Join a leading FMCG retailer in Sydney's Inner West as their Warehouse Supervisor. Your new company Your new company is a leading Australian FMCG with a warehouse based in Sydney's Inner-West. They have an exciting opportunity for you to take the next step in your career as a Warehouse Supervisor on a permanent basis. Your new role As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation in the warehouse, including receiving, picking, dispatch and inventory, as well as leading your team and driving improvements. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be managing a medium-sized team of 15-20 staff. Your duties will include:
Ensuring accurate receiving, storing, dispatching and high quality of goods
Actively participate in the development & improvement of current processes within the warehouse.
Training, mentoring and development of staff members through high engagement, support and communication.
Coordinating cycle counts and stock takes
Ensure a safe working environment and adherence to OH&S policies by all team members
What you'll need to succeed As a successful Warehouse Supervisor, you will have previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or a similar role, as well as the following: A valid Forklift licence & high-reach forklift experience
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills enable you to effectively lead your team.
Previous perishable or cold chain experience preferred
A hands-on approach
A track record in people management
Strong computer literacy
Strong understanding of practical processes within stock control & logistics
