Elements of Byron is an award-winning Beach front resort, nestled on 50 acres of absolute beach front paradise in Byron Bay. The role of Recruitment Resourcer will support our Talent and Culture Manager who is responsible for Recruitment, Culture and Training at the resort.

This is a job share role (3 days week, Tues/Wed/Thu) where you will work closely with our current Recruitment Resourcer who works two days a week (Mon/Fri).

You will be responsible for ensuring that effective candidate management and communication is maintained with all applicants who are applying for roles at the resort. There is a high volume of candidate calls, email correspondence and diary management, so your ability to manage multiple tasks will see you excel.

This role would suit someone who is extremely organised, has high attention to detail, can juggle multiple tasks and prioritise, while remaining cool under pressure. You will be available to work three days a week, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Phone screening and shortlisting of candidates using our candidate management system (Workable)
  • Adding new employee details to Humanforce and following up on their onboarding progress
  • Monitor and respond to telephone and email queries regarding interviews or start date information
  • Diary management of Culture Officers inbox and calendar
  • Assisting with the coordinating of recruitment activities including scheduling interviews, performing reference checks, and managing correspondence during the recruitment process
  • Schedule learning and development training sessions and update the training calendar
  • Co-ordinate administration processes for probation reviews, performance development reviews, employee visas, RSA’s, Drivers Licences, and other licence renewals as required
  • Other ad hoc administration assistance as required
  • Previous experience in a similar support role
  • An HR Qualification would be highly regarded but is not essential
  • Well presented with excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Well organised with strong attention to detail
  • Remain calm, patient and organised in high volume work situations
  • Results oriented and ‘can do’ positive attitude
  • High level administration and organizational skills
  • Display a high energy level
  • Intermediate to advanced skill level - Microsoft Office Suite
