Our Department of Professional Practice is made up of analytical, naturally inquisitive people that bring together knowledge across financial reporting and technical accounting. As an Experienced Financial Reporting Manager/Director, you will support the business and our clients in the application of accounting standards and other financial reporting regulatory requirements.
Your Opportunity
Forming part of the National Financial Reporting Team, this role will play a key role in:
• Research accounting and other regulatory requirements in the context of specific transactions to determine accounting consequences
• Coach teams and clients through technical accounting issues
• Review and provide feedback on technical accounting papers
• Knowledge share FAQs and key learnings with teams and clients
• Undertake reviews of financial statements for compliance with disclosure and accounting requirements
• Identify opportunities for and develop accounting and reporting related guidance, training and thought leadership materials for both internal and external client consumption
• Participate in specific technical accounting subject matter focus groups, developing technical expertise on the specific subject
• Provide input into global and Asia Pacific teams in the development of global guidance and sharing of common and emerging issues
