About the Role You will become a part of our dynamic team, with the opportunity to develop your clinical skills through treating a diverse range of patients in challenging and rewarding settings. You will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and record interventions and patient care.
Provide physical and psychological care & support
Contribute to assessment, diagnosis and treatment of the patient within a safe and therapeutic environment to promote prompt recovery
Assess the medical, physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs of patients to ensure high quality care
Actively encourage patients and their significant others to participate in management planning and or care programs
Monitor and review the provision of care using research outcomes, continuous quality improvement activities and systems appraisals
Classifications for this position will range from Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 2 NP21 - NP70 ($71,333 - $95,378 per annum pro rata) Your Contribution
Completed Bachelor of Nursing Degree
Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA
Current experience in the delivery of Aged Care Mental Health Nursing is essential
Experience in conflict management / negotiation
Motivated, professional & exhibiting exceptional communication and time management skills.
Current National Criminal History check, or willing to obtain
