Transport Refrigeration Mechanic
Advanced Transport Refrigeration & Air Conditioning is seeking an experienced Transport Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team located at Wingfield. We provide service, maintenance, repairs and installation to the transport refrigeration industry and are an essential service partner in cold chain logistics.
ATR is the sole South Australian Sales & Service Agent for Mitsubishi Heavy Industries for refrigerated trucks and trailers.
Our technicians and workshop are also experienced in service and repair on ThermoKing and Carrier units.
This is a full time position that will also require off site work and overtime where needed.
The successful candidate will have the following:
Experience in Transport Refrigeration (Cert III Refrigeration & AirConditioning & two years experience, OR, three years of relevant work experience)
Knowledge and experience with diesel and trailer units (eg Mitsubishi / ThermoKing / Carrier)
Mechanical, diesel mechanic, refrigeration and auto electrical skills and experience will also be highly regarded
Automotive Air Conditioning experience desirable, but not necessary
Current ArcTick licensing
Current MR Licence or higher desirable
On site experience is highly regarded
Ability to work autonomously is a must, as are excellent communication skills
Great troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Reliability and punctuality are imperative
Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship a must
This role will incorporate both repair and service works as well as installation of new systems.
ATR provide regular and ongoing training to ensure our technicians are of the highest calibre.
Service vehicle, with necessary tools, will be provided for offsite work where applicable. Full work uniform to be provided. Highly competitive remuneration package offered for the right candidate.
Qualified Diesel Mechanics with electrical experience are encouraged to apply.
