Plumber Engineering (Trades / Technical) | Top Job Closing date: 31/01/2024 The Resort Plumber is primarily responsible for maintaining all plumbing infrastructure and gas appliances throughout the Thredbo Alpine Hotel, Thredbo Leisure Centre and Friday Flat base station, food outlets and other Kosciuszko Thredbo Pty Ltd properties where required. Other duties (non– electrical) maybe assigned from time to time to assist in the overall maintenance of Kosciuszko Thredbo assets. Report and isolate hazardous equipment due to electrical or mechanical faults using “tag out” procedures. Carry out all duties in a timely manner with attention paid to cost efficiencies on all works. Be familiar with all services emergency shut off locations (gas, water, electricity) and be able to activate should an emergency arise in hotel, leisure centre or Friday Flat. Complete job cards in a timely manner Display a sound work ethic and are punctual and self-motivated with a ‘Can Do’ attitude Ensure adherence to workplace OHS & other compliance requirements Experience and skills: Certificate III in Plumbing or equivalent qualification – essential Excellent fault-finding skills and eye for details Previous industrial experience Current construction Induction card Current First aid – desirable About our Team Thredbo isn’t just a job, it’s an experience.
