Looking for a Warehouse / Operations Manager to join a small team in Mackay. ASAP Start & FULL TIME! Your new company Our client is a wholesale food distributor that provides seafood, meat, and frozen products to the hospitality industry in Australia. It has six branches across the country, including one in Mackay. It is part of a larger group that is one of the most experienced food service providers in Western Australia. It offers online ordering, delivery, catering, and specials to its customers. They have a current vacancy in the Mackay Region for an Operations Manager Your new role
Effectively manage all shift managers, store workers and drivers to deliver premium service levels to customers via on-time deliveries, accurate stock picked to orders and smooth transition of workflow between each shift
Manage and oversee warehouse operations with line shift managers to ensure all day-to-day warehouse operations are successfully achieved including goods inwards, stock replenishments and rotations to use by dates, stock temperature controls to HACCP standards, inventory stock levels and minimal pick error rates
To ensure service delivery standards are met in line with overall business strategies and objectives.
Manage operational costs in line with budgets and identify areas for operational improvements
What you'll need to succeed
Diploma or Certificate in Supply Chain Logistics or similar - desirable
Warehouse Manager / Operations Management experience
Be customer and safety focused
High level of attention to detail and professionalism
Be living locally in the Mackay Region
