Our client Regain Occupational Therapy Pty Ltd trading as Cloud Nine Therapy Services located in Blacktown NSW is an Australia’s innovative provider of Paediatric Occupational therapy. The client offers a range of evidence based Occupational therapy services to the kids throughout Blacktown, Castle Hill, Glenwood and Parramatta region.
The client has an experienced team of Occupational Therapists and provides highest quality occupational therapy assessment and evidence-based intervention. Cloud Nine Therapy Services offers in- clinic consultation, school and home visits, individualised and group programs, school readiness programs, parents information sessions and advice regarding equipment and resources.

This position is permanent full-time, 38 hours per week and is open to experienced Occupational Therapists. As an Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work within the scope of your practice to help individuals/ children achieve their goals. You will be well supported by a great multidisciplinary team, have access to regular supervision and be able to further your knowledge and skills.
Your primary role will be diverse and involve conducting clinical assessments and developing individually tailored therapy plans, executing appropriate Occupational Therapy treatment, paediatrics. The successful applicant will demonstrate an ability to manage a diverse caseload and work autonomously, as well as actively participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team, to address functional, equipment and service needs of the client population.
Minimum Requirements:
• Relevant tertiary education in Occupational Therapy
• Previous experience completing Occupational Therapy specific assessments and therapy supports to a range of individuals
• Proven experience working with those with complex support needs
• Commitment to people and providing quality services
• Professional experience or demonstrated commitment to working with children
In this role your main responsibilities include:
• Assess clients' emotional, psychological, developmental and physical capabilities using clinical observations and standardised tests
• Plan and direct programs through the use of vocational, recreational, remedial, social and educational activities on an individual and group basis
• Assess, implement, and manage client supports in accordance with best practices
• Develop intervention plans, including short- and long-term goals
• Develop the child’s speech pathology program in consultation with the key worker, family, and support network
• Work cooperatively and effectively within the trans-disciplinary team to provide families with a high quality, coordinated service
• Working with children
• Managing and acting on participants’ feedback to ensure services remain responsive to consumer needs
• Liaise with external stakeholders
• Document patient progress according to standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and caregivers to ensure holistic care and support
• Use evidence-based approaches with clients
• Maintain and demonstrate a high level of skill within the desired scope of practice
• Engage in ongoing professional development and continuous education to elevate your skills and knowledge

• Demonstrated competency in Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment techniques
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills with an innovative and holistic approach to health care
