Echuca Moama Plant Farm Pty Ltd is a wholesale plant and vegetable plant grower in Echuca West 3564 VIC. The business is seeking a full time, qualified Irrigation Assistant.
Salary is $70,000 per annum plus super.
The applicant should have at least a relevant Certificate 2 or 2 years of full time work experience (at least 38 hours per week) in an agriculture or similar setting. The applicant must be committed to working in regional Victoria.
The applicant will be responsible for the following tasks:
• Determine and schedule irrigations based on weather conditions
• Irrigate crops and plants as required
• Assess soil moisture on a daily basis by undertaking plant inspections
• Assist in design and implementation of the irrigation program
• Schedule irrigations
• Install irrigation systems
• Maintain pumping systems for irrigation
• Daily maintenance of irrigation systems
• Completing general tasks assisting others as required
• Participate in staff development as requested or required
• Inspect and report any maintenance required
