Remuneration package of up to $128,435 p.a., comprising base salary range of $104,816 - $112,236 p.a. (+ applicable allowances/benefits) (Nurse Grade 6-1), recreational leave loading (17.5%), and employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%).

About the role:
Provide a comprehensive and flexible mental health service to children and young people including where appropriate, their families or carers. This includes assessment, planning and intervention within the context of a multidisciplinary environment.
Facilitate and coordinate holistic and evidence-based treatment to children and young people experiencing mental health problems with or without co-existing substance use problems, in partnership with the person and family through, comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
Provide a range of targeted and holistic evidence-based therapeutic interventions to people accessing the service to promote positive health and resilience.

Role requirements:
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent is a mandatory qualification for this position. Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.
This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate license endorsement to operate this vehicle is required.

Highly desirable:
Credentialed status (or willingness to undertake and complete the requirements) with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses.
Possession of or working towards a relevant post-registration and/or tertiary qualification in mental health nursing.
Eligibility for appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner (AMHP) under the Mental Health Act 2016.
