Location:  Rockhampton region

About the Role

Therapy Works CQ is searching for a Speech Pathologist to join our growing team! 

As a private practice Speech Pathologist you will provide therapy services to clients both in the clinic or occasionally in the community. Therapy Works CQ provides services for babies, children, adults, seniors on Home Care Packages and people living with disability accessing NDIS. 

We treat our paediatric and adolescent clients in our clinic (including our 7 fully-equipped sensory gyms), homes, child-care centres,  and schools. Individual, group and joint Therapy sessions are provided. 

A typical caseload includes children and adolescents who have learning difficulties, developmental delays, sensory processing and behavioural difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADD/ADHD, disability or mental health support needs.

Requirements

Skills and experience


A degree in Speech Pathology 
Member of Speech Pathology Australia
Speech Pathologist to hold a Blue Card for working with children, or be eligible for one
Have a valid driver's license, and a comprehensively insured car
Be responsible for assessment, planning, treatment, clinical notes, and reports
Committed to high quality, evidence based, inclusive and family-centred practice
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, and computer literacy
Passion and commitment to ongoing professional development
