Looking for a multi skilled, Electrical / Mechatronics Technician.
Process Plant Network Pty Ltd, is an established Australian owned and operated business for over 30 years, that has been growing year on year from humble beginnings.
We employ 35 specialised engineers and sales engineers to work on unique and challenging projects, in the food processing and packaging industry.
Due to state-of-the art designs and engineering, the company is using and constantly adding machines, made in Italy. Italian machines, both new and used, stand alone units and integrated systems.
What we require is someone with extraordinary and unique skills, who can multitask in two different languages. They must know Italian machines in their work experience, and be able to read and interpret Italian written manuals accurately.
This is an exciting and newly created position, that enters the new and dynamic field of Electrical and Mechatronics.
Tasks and responsibilities of the role include:
1. Ensuring all machines comply with Australian electrical, mechanical and safety standards
2. Set up machines to work with the customers’ food products and packaging materials
3. Integrate various machines into an automated line, using PLC programming and mechanical fitting
4. Program robots to work harmoniously on complex automated systems
5. Maintain and repair machines on regular call outs to customers nationwide
Ideally, candidates should possess the following skills and demonstrated capabilities:
1. Relevant qualifications at a Diploma level or higher.
2. No less than 2-years relevant employment experience with an emphasis on electrical and mechanical disciplines.
3. Strong knowledge of working with mechatronics.
4. Strong bilingual abilities in English and Italian will be highly regarded.
5. Proven experience with working on Italian engineered machines and components.
