Praemium LTD are seeking an experienced Software Tester with Financial Services/Wealth Management knowledge, with strong manual and automation testing experience to ensure high quality software is achieved across a suite of wealth management products.
The successful candidate will be part of our ambitious and fast-growing global technology team with a strong team-culture and people first approach. You will join one of our many agile development teams to focus on innovating our product offering within our market leading technology stack, in a fast-paced agile environment where we ship code daily and package fortnightly releases. You will play a key role in improving testing methodologies and processes, expanding regression suites (manual & automation) whilst delivering key sprint user stories each sprint.

Your key responsibilities will include:
• Ensuring the quality of the in-house developed software products
• Testing the functionality, processing, logic, input/output, a/b path and other aspects of the software
• Working with other Applications and Web Developers to communicate any discovered defects, reporting on bugs, defects or other issues into defect tracking systems or processes
• Involvement in Agile/Scrum processes and techniques
• Creating test-plans for the software testing cycles or where required
• Accepting and signing-off of software releases and deployments
Experience, qualification and attributes sought after:
• Financial Services/Wealth Management knowledge are mandatory
• Solid manual testing experience
• Automation experience within Selenium, NUnit & Specflow frameworks important but not mandatory,
• Solid SQL & Developer tools experience
• Good analytical skills and an inquisitive mind
• The ability to interact comfortably and confidently with the development team
• Comfortable working in an Agile environment, adopting a consultative and cooperative approach to your work
• Have proven record of ability to negotiate resolutions to complex issues and define project scope
• Excellent and analytical problem solving skills, with a proven ability to identify, define and prioritise business needs/problems/issues, then define/develop/influence feasible solutions
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Office Suite and very comfortable with common cloud- based software
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, perform under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines
• Clear and unambiguous communication and presentation skills, in-person and online, via email, phone and digital apps, combined with effective listening skills
