MANDATORY EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 2 years agency experience
Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Fashion Promotion or Communications

JOB SUMMARY:
As an Account Manager, you will oversee client strategy and planning, managing a key group of clients. The Account Manager role is also responsible for campaign delivery, team mentoring, and supporting the Director with new business pitching and development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Client Management
Client management including development of strong relationships and new business opportunities from existing clients
Create client work systems including WIPs and complete monthly publicity reporting on media relations outcomes to present to the client
Manage budgets and client profitability.?
Manage client workflow and agency resource management. ?
Participate in discussions with clients to understand and draft Public Relations briefs.
Develop communication strategies and programs for clients.
Client management including development of strong relationships and new business opportunities from existing clients.
Create client work systems including WIPs and complete monthly publicity reporting on media relations outcomes to present to the client.

2. Press Office
Planning, organisation and execution of publicity campaigns and communications strategies on behalf of fashion clients.
Advising client’s executives and key stakeholders on the implications of policies, programs and practices in the public arena.
Preparing and writing media materials including news alerts, press releases and social media material.
Operating as a client representative within the media landscape to analyse brand sentiment and public opinion to effectively plan public relations and promotional campaigns.
Ideation, production and organisation of a wide range of special events to promote clients and their products, ultimately resulting in goodwill and favourable publicity.
Representing clients and operating as their press liaison within Australia through arranging key spokesperson interviews with publicity media.
Form and maintain strong relationships with fashion media and industry networks including networking on behalf of Leaf Communications (and the agency's clients) through attending media desk sides, social functions and other fashion industry engagements to promote the organisation(s).
Managing social media and content strategies to obtain photographs and other assets that promote and communicate the products of Leaf Communications clients.
Revising material commissioned by writers, photographers, influencer and others to ensure favourable publicity and that key messages are communicated on behalf of the client

3. Team Management
Assist in the development of the team, their roles and work flow and motivation.
Provide leadership through clear direction and supervision.
Manage producers and suppliers as required.
Understand the roles of each team member, delegate tasks to junior staff and supervise as required.
Manage Account Executives, Account Coordinators, showroom team and interns on each account ensuring deadlines are being met and work quality is of the highest standard.
Input to junior staff capacity planning on each account.
Contribute to team appraisals and identify development areas.
Contribute to team reviews and development for those members in your team as required.

4. New Business
Develop proposals, and create pitches for new business.
Assist on new business proposals, case study preparation, and document production as required.
Support pitch meetings demonstrating clear, persuasive verbal presentation skills.
Maintain and cultivate a network on social media.
Attend industry and client relevant events as required.
