The Role:
Work on a Design Excellence Competition winning Commercial Office Tower and Residential Apartment Building project set to commence early-stage Concept design and progress through DA, DD, CD to completion on site. This project will create a new model for a work and living community with shared amenities and high sustainable aspirations. You will require experience working on Commercial and Residential projects.
Utilise your extensive experience, to lead and contribute to the entire project lifecycle, from concept design to detailed documentation.
Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external consultants to develop and refine design concepts.
Independently prepare design drawings for Development Approval (DA) and carry them through to detailed documentation (DD/CD).
Communicate and coordinate seamlessly with consultants, translating their advice into actionable design modifications while preserving the project's intent.
Contribute to maintaining and improving the firm's design and documentation standards.
About You:
An experienced architect with a proven track record in taking projects from concept design to detailed documentation and known for your collaborative spirit.
Experience working on Commercial and Residential projects, in an architectural practice.
Bachelor’s or masters degree in architecture from an accredited institution.
Significant number of years' experience in architectural design and project management.
Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, Enscape with a demonstrated ability to use it effectively in project work.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of construction principles, local building standards, and the National Construction Code (NCC).
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team and with external consultants.
Proven experience in taking projects through Development Approval (DA) and detailed documentation (DD/CD).
Comprehensive knowledge of construction practices, local building standards, and the National Construction Code (NCC).
