Civil Engineer – Projects

• $110,00 - $140,000 per year + super + car
About us:
• Mack Civil Engineering has built a strong reputation of delivering a diverse range of civil engineering and construction projects for local government and leading private sector construction firms.
• Our commitment is to succeed with a focus on quality, safety and consistent on time and budget project delivery.
• Scope includes but is not limited to is streetscape upgrades, traffic facility construction including intersection upgrades, stormwater works, and soft and hard landscaping works.
• The company is currently going through expansion with newly awarded projects.
Key Responsibilities of the Civil Engineer – Projects role:
• Provide technical and engineering support to the delivery team
• Maintain a safe workplace for everyone
• Assist in the planning and staging of construction activities
• Track and schedule (include forecasting) resource, plant, and material requirements
• Develop Safe Working documentation (SWMS, ITP, Site plans, etc)
• Quality assurance
• Flexibility in hours of work, including night and day shifts
About You
We are looking for enthusiastic and self-driven people who take pride in their work, a desire to learn all aspects of project delivery and career development. You will be working closely with our Project and the Management Teams in delivering multiple projects across our business. You will also participate in the continuous improvement of current company processes and business objectives.
We are looking for a candidate with the following key attributes:
• Degree in Civil Engineering or related disciplines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Take ownership and pride of their works
• Willingness to find opportunities to go above and beyond
• Excellent time management & attention to detail
• Quality and process orientated
• A safety mindset
• Experience working on council and TfNSW projects. Civil infrastructure, streetscaping and / or utilities experience is highly desirable
• Two years relevant work experience
