About the team
City Development is responsible for the management and assessment of customer development applications, including the provision of planning and building advice, development assessment and improvement, infrastructure change review, developer contributions, infrastructure compliance and planning appeals and research.
About your new role
The purpose of this position is to provide professional advice to CoGC on statutory approvals, development standards, flooding, water quality and stormwater matters and assisting in assessing the suitability of proposed developments with particular emphasis on the hydraulic and stormwater management issues associated with the City's extensive waterway and flood plain systems.
These positions are advertised at level 6 to 7 and the successful candidates will be appointed to the appropriate levels based on their relevant qualifications and experience.
We're looking for people who have:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or the equivalent knowledge.
Good understanding of hydraulics.
