The Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Automation Lead (Developer Programmer) with strong experience to join our growing team and contribute to the development that empowers our organization to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Essential skills & Experience:
Build on demand frameworks based on custom requirements.
Lead the initiatives with Java/Groovy and Spock framework.
UI test automation with NodeJS and WebdriverIO.
Integrate automated test cases with GitHub Actions.
Support test engineers by providing detailed reports of the test execution.
Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that testing activities are aligned with project requirements.
Manage testing environments and ensure that they are properly configured and maintained to support testing activities.
Ensure automated test scripts are written for all new major pieces of work.
Be responsible for the design and development of automated tools and other test environments that help maintain the quality of the platforms.
Collaborate with other Engineers to deliver solutions aligned to the organisation's strategic roadmap.
Work collaboratively with the rest of the IT structure to ensure solutions are well supported.
Work with Senior Engineers, other Lead Engineers, and the Software Development Manager to deliver solutions and develop timelines.
Work with the Service Desk and Product team to manage escalated incidents.
Deliver resilient, extensible, supportable integrations solutions.
Demonstrate Flexible, adaptable, helpful approaches and help the team flourish in cross-cultural environment.
Demonstrate Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Bring-in Service improvement in the existing processes.
Possess strong skills in planning, project management and attention to detail and has excellent problem solving and evaluative judgement skills.
Communicate and co-ordinate people across geographies and among multiple teams to handle team across offshore and onshore.
Manage multiple complex initiatives with competing deadlines and through various stages of development and approval.
Excellent problem-solving and optimization skills - identify and resolve problems in a timely manner and report issues to the management team; demonstrate appropriate risk-taking and comfort with ambiguity.

Candidate Qualification:
Contribute to defining and delivering Test Strategy, Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Reports and Test Risks and Issues.
Proven experience in test engineering teams, develop and rollout test harnesses, frameworks, tools, and infrastructure to enable test automation for browser UIs, APIs, and databases.
Use of git-based source control and CI/CD.
Experience with test automation frameworks
Able to see the work needed outside of the Agile processes to create a holistic supportive test / test-automation environment.
Have implemented load and performance test frameworks for high transaction systems.
Able to see the work needed outside of the Agile processes to create a holistic supportive test / test-automation environment Know how to work with product and development leads to lead multi-disciplinary teams to successful delivery of product development roadmaps.
Experience with a blend of automated, semi-automated, and manual testing.
Be able to contribute on the successes and value of the team Embedding of quality and security posture across teams, with a keen understanding of data protection requirements.
